I am a 2002 graduate of the Virginia School of Massage. Since becoming Nationally certified in 2003, I have worked in a variety of locations, including a gym/physical therapy clinic, a traditional massage clinic, chiropractors' offices, clients' homes, and in the classroom.
My love for both education and massage gives me the conviction that clients should always be educated about what is going on with their health. As a therapist, I always do my best to help problem-solve with a client to achieve his or her goal for wellness. It is my job as your therapist to work with you in order to give you the results you want.
I completed a yoga teacher training course in 2016 and teach private sessions and small groups in order to introduce my clients to yoga. I hope to give them yet another opportunity to experience freedom and movement in their bodies where they have previously only experienced pain and restriction. Yoga is a wonderful complement to massage therapy, and I encourage people of all ages and abilities to try it!
I am trained as an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist through the Himalayan Institute. I offer holistic wellness plans to clients which incorporate massage, yoga and diet planning for an integrated approach to health.
I look forward to helping complement your wellness plan by providing work that will encourage and rejuvenate you on your journey to better health.
